Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

Straight answers before you book the call — how we work, what it costs, and what to expect.

How is this different from a typical marketing agency?

We don't staff an account-manager layer. Every engagement is run by senior operators who have directly managed the budgets, decisions are governed by your unit economics (LTV, CAC, retention) rather than vanity metrics, and we operate as an embedded extension of your team rather than an outside vendor.

What's the engagement model — retainer, project, or performance-based?

It depends on scope. Most engagements start with a discovery call to define whether the work is a fixed-scope audit, an ongoing retainer across the growth stack, or a phased go-to-market project — we agree on structure and metrics before anything starts.

How long before we see measurable results?

Diagnostic findings and quick wins (attribution fixes, paywall friction points) typically surface within the first 2–4 weeks. Compounding results in CAC and LTV depend on channel and market, and are set as explicit milestones during onboarding.

Do you work with early-stage startups or only established companies?

Both, but the engagement looks different. Early-stage teams typically start with go-to-market and market-entry planning; scaled companies typically start with a growth audit and paid acquisition optimization.

What's included in the initial audit or methodology phase?

A full diagnostic across attribution, spend distribution, funnel and paywall friction, and organic visibility — mapped using the same frameworks (AARRR, RICE, JTBD, MECE) referenced in our methodology — with findings tied directly to CPI, CAC, conversion rate, and LTV.

Do you also handle creative production and scaling into new markets?

Yes. Creative is produced in-house — static, copy, and video/UGC — built specifically for ad network algorithms rather than generic brand assets. For scaling, we handle localization, always-on acquisition campaigns, and media plans across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more) so creative, targeting, and market entry move together instead of as separate workstreams.

The Operating System

What frameworks and methodology do you use?

We adapt our approach for every client — no two engagements run the same playbook. What stays fixed is the toolkit: a set of frameworks, borrowed from top consulting practice and modern growth teams, that we draw on and combine differently depending on the problem in front of us, each one wired directly to a specific line on your growth P&L.

STRATEGY

McKinsey Three Horizons of Growth

Balances near-term revenue, emerging markets, and long-term bets — the same lens we use to sequence a market-entry roadmap instead of chasing every opportunity at once.

GO-TO-MARKET
GROWTH ANALYTICS

AARRR / Pirate Metrics

Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue — the funnel stage-by-stage diagnostic we run before recommending where a single dollar gets spent.

DIAGNOSTICS

Extends Lifecycle, Retention, and final LTV.

EXPERIMENTATION

RICE Prioritization

Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort — how every paid channel test and creative variant gets scored and sequenced, so budget goes to the highest-probability wins first.

PAID ACQUISITIONPERFORMANCE CREATIVE

Dictates CPI and CAC.

CONVERSION DESIGN

Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD)

We design onboarding, paywalls, and UI around the job a user is "hiring" your product to do — not generic usability heuristics.

CONVERSION ENGINEERINGFUNNEL & PAYWALL

Dictates Conversion Rates and initial ARR.

COMPOUNDING GROWTH

Growth Loops (Not Funnels)

We map organic channels as closed loops that reinvest their own output, instead of one-way funnels — so ASO, SEO, and GEO keep compounding without incremental spend.

ORGANIC VISIBILITY

Lowers overall CAC via blended organic traffic.

DIAGNOSTICS

MECE Problem Structuring

Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive — the McKinsey principle we use to break down attribution and spend audits so nothing is double-counted or missed.
